Please Note: Mangroves are home to hundreds of different species of sea life, therefore we enforce the use of reef-friendly sunscreen only.
We provide lockers to store your belongings while on the tour, or you can take your stuff with you on the mangrove tour boat.
All snorkelers must know how to swim, please inform your guide otherwise.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE TRIP:
On our Roatan Mangrove Tour, you will be able to see beautiful landscapes from the comfort of our air-conditioned van, and the glistening coastline while on our boat. For added excitement, you will be provide with mask and fins to enjoy a snorkeling exploration of the Mesoamerican reef!
Our Van will pick you up from the cruise ship terminal or directly from your hotel, you will tour Roatán for 45 minutes by car, our experienced driver will drive you to Jonesville Point Marina. Here, you will receive a safety induction and snorkeling gear.Your guide will pick you up at the designated meeting point and time.
Once on the boat, you will receive a briefing of the tour and the safety of the vessel, you will then depart and explore Oak Ridge, the Venice of Honduras, on the way you'll view the mangroves and the wildlife on the surface.
When you come back onboard the vessel, you can enjoy fresh water, fruits, and towels. After the final roster call, the boat will bring you back to the bus.
